Dr. Gregory J. Bittner
Dr. Bittner received his Doctor of Optometry degree from The Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He was awarded the Clinical Excellence Award while studying at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia. Dr. Bittner was appointed to the State Optometric Board in 2011. He is a member of The American Optometric Association and The Pennsylvania Optometric Association. Dr. Bittner is active in laser vision correction and is an affiliate of TLC Laser Center and Sightline Laser Center. He also specializes in working with specialty contact lens designs. Dr. Bittner is active in the community by participating in various church organizations and the local Rotary Club.
Dr. Bittner was awarded Optometrist of the Year award in March 2012 by the Western Pennsylvania Optometric Association.
Dr. Michael G. Bittner
Dr. Bittner earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology and minor in Psychology from Allegheny College. Afterwards he attended The Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University receiving his Doctor of Optometry degree. During that time he performed a rotation in The William Feinbloom Vision Rehabilitation Center. Besides primary eye care, Dr. Bittner is active in laser vision correction as well as specialty contact lenses. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Pennsylvania Optometric Association.
Dr. Karen A. Delserone
Upon graduating from The Ohio State School of Optometry in 1990, Dr. Delserone took a position at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Responsibilities included primary optometric care, contact lens fitting and a rotation in the corneal disease clinic. She has since been practicing in Pittsburgh and has been with Bittner Vision Associates since February 2001. She currently practices primary optometric care, contact lens care, and laser vision correction services. She has held a position with The National Board of Optometry and is currently a TLC and Sightline laser affiliate.
Dr. Karissa Manko
Dr. Manko obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from John Carroll University. She earned her Doctorate of Optometry at The Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. In her time at school, Dr. Manko rotated through The William Feinbloom Vision Rehabilitation Center, where she gained experience in low vision and ocular disease. In addition to primary care in Optometry, she is trained in specialty contact lenses and dry eye management. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
